Crafty Kiwis Plot to Promote Popular Wellington Wares
Wellington is the seat of government in New Zealand, and arguably the most cultural of all Kiwi cities.
As reported in Wellingtonista, the popular craft market event “Craft 2.0” is happening on Saturday March 22nd 2008, from 11am to 3pm, at “TheNewDowse” (45 Laings Rd, Lower Hutt).
“Craft2.0 with TheNewDowse continues to support and influence the handmade revolution. We hand pick the most unique and talented crafters making the very best in handmade gifts and wares.”
Organized by Sue of Supervery, the market features an wide array of crafters, many of whom have an online presence. (So you can get an idea of what’s “in store”). EFTPOS will be available.
While craft is not really my thing, Gayle would love it, so if we lived in Wellington, we’d be there! (And I’d be discussing blogging / technology with Sue, and anyone else who’d listen, while my wife went browsing)
