Brooke Fraser was introduced to me as “New Zealand’s hottest export”. While she may not be as widely known in the global music scene, you’re unlikely to find a Kiwi who doesn’t know (and love) her. The twenty four years old Wellingtonian, currently living in Sydney, Australia, has released two albums: What to Do With Daylight, and Albertine.
“Albertine” was inspired by her recent trip to Rwanda. (You need to watch the video to understand)
Brooke Fraser facts:
- Brooke is the “face” of World Vision New Zealand, and sponsors four children.
- Brooke has visited Cambodia, Tanzania, the Philippines, and Rwanda.
- Brooke is a worship leader with Hillsong United.
- Brooke is the daughter of another famous Kiwi, legendary All Black Bernie Fraser.
- Brooke got her tongue pierced when she was 14 and a second one at 15 but took it out. (it was crooked and it pierced through the web under her tongue)
